​I am a founder and creative designer at ODUN design. I lived in Trabzon, İstanbul, Milano, Florance and now live in Amsterdam so there is no home city of ODUN design. 

I have two studios in İstanbul Turkey for ODUN design's production. One of them is a wood carving studio in Galata İstanbul. Another one is a metal studio in Eminonu İstanbul. 

When I create ODUN design, I try to complete with the nature. I am working on old copper, olive wood, lime tree, oak, brass, stainless stell, ceramic, organic textile, meerschaum. I never try to use chemical during the production and always produce to hand made products with my two specialists. One of my specialist who works on metal such as copper, brass, silver. Another specilalist carves on wood and he is the oldest and the best wood carving specialist in Istanbul.

 

I have more informations and experiences about materials, brand management and marketing. I always search different materials, try to make design with them, analysis my target group and marketing.

I use my knowledge as well. My illness that's anorexia and bulumia is my network or my city that I was born in. Bulumia nervosa is the reason of that I'm interested in the kitchen's products and often visit to more cafes and restaurants in everywhere. My city that's Trabzon is the reason of that I work on copper because the copper is so famous and there are the best copper specialists in Trabzon. My textile education in Milano is the reason of that I work on organic and ecologic textile in another city in black sea is close to Trabzon. In addition, I work on glass by hand made with a glass specialist for ODUN design products and I use fabric emprime - printing, embroidery with both of the machine and by hand made.

I follow the nature while I am growing. ODUN design also grows. We realise to be in the nature at heart. We also realise that time is irony. Nature says to us what we need, ODUN design is also created according to needs and gets the message across to us; "Stay at the moment!" ODUN design is not because a product design brand but because a life style.

I always listen inside of me. It always tells something and gives an idea for my life. I create to fly on my dreams.
